Company ‘Groundsplash’ recently travelled from Adelaide to install new sensory paths at our school. The new sensory paths are in the Year 1 and Year 2 area and in the senior area around the volleyball court.
We would like to thank Mandurah Mayday Op-Shop and Bendigo Bank for their generous donation towards our sensory path.
All students are excited to use these paths at recess and lunch times. It’s a great way for the students to use movement, which helps them to self-regulate and assists with their learning.
A big thank you to Chris Rowland, our Lead Special Needs Education Assistant, who implemented the sensory paths and does an amazing job coordinating and managing student support in our school Zen Zone.
