Our programs and specialist teaching classes enable our students to strengthen their abilities in so many different areas allowing everyone to find their talents to thrive and learn. Programs include:
- Explicit literacy and numeracy programs Literacy Pro, Multi Lit, MacqLit, MiniLit, Reading Eggs and PRIME mathematics.
- Quarantined teaching session blocks for literacy and numeracy.
- PEAC – Primary Extension & Challenge program to enhance intellectual rigor and challenge.
- Specialist classes include science, physical education, visual arts, performing arts and language (currently Indonesian).
Our literacy and numeracy programs are appropriate to each year level and our staff are trained and upskilled in the latest programs on offer that coincide with the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment requirements to ensure our teachers deliver the most up to date, well-structured learning experiences for your child. Explicit teaching blocks for literacy and numeracy is undertaken by all classroom teachers with the goal to improve student achievement and recognise those requiring additional support.
Our specialist teaching staff have a passion for their chosen profession and recognise students who excel in specialist classes whether it be art, sport, science music and performing arts or our academic challenge programs.
