Riverside Primary School opened in 1995 and has established itself as a school of choice for many families in the Mandurah area. Our school provides a safe and supportive environment which allows all students to strive for academic and personal success.
The school is very aesthetically appealing, with pockets of natural bushland. The grounds are well maintained, and the Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) continues to work extremely hard and fund-raise to provide additional resources.
Riverside Primary school has many facilities available to our students for use inside and outside the classroom:
- Five purpose-built learning blocks which house Kindergarten to Year 6 classes.
- Interactive technology in the form of iPads and laptops that allow students to develop their technology skills with various software applications.
- Physical education areas such as hard courts, grass courts, fitness activity track and a full-sized sports field oval.
- The school canteen was named by our students as the ‘Snack Shack’ and is available to purchase recess and lunch.
- The school library is inviting with vibrant displays created by our wonderful library staff who encourage students to develop their knowledge through reading and explore the great range of resources available.
