Harmony Week celebrates how all our differences make Australia a great place to live! Australia is one of the world’s most successful multicultural countries and our cultural diversity is at the heart of who we are.
Harmony Week is a national event and is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
On Harmony day students were invited to wear orange to show support. Students enjoyed decorating a paper hand to reflect their family’s culture, our school and community values or what it means to them living in Australia. Harmony Day hands will be placed in a display at school.
