Over the last month Riverside students have been RISING up!
Two Riverside values we have been focussing on are Inclusive and Respect.
- Inclusive – we work as a team and include others.
- Respect – we speak respectfully to others.
Here are some photos of our students modelling our expectations.
For the pictures with the newspaper: Year 2 students had to work as a team to ‘cross the river’ but there is a twist! Students were only allowed to step on the news paper to get their team across to the other side.
For the colouring in pictures: Year 1 students engaged in a PBS lesson where they discussed and shared their ideas around on how they can speak respectfully to others at school and in the community. Following on from this, they enjoyed a quiet time colouring in pictures that show being respectful.
